i have been spending the past month in buenos aires. beside doing the regular tourist attractions they have at BA (drinking and partying), i have been doing some street caricatures (soon to be uploaded) and i have painted three murals in a hostel in BA. it is in hostel clan in buenos aires (adolfo alsina 912 in case anybody wonders). first mural is the poster from the immortal ¨back to the future¨. yes. i had to make it again. really complicated piece of work, and here i swear never to paint that poster again in my life.
too more murals are already on the next walls, and with god´s willing i will have pictures of them posted pretty soon.

el bolson - the market

so...
the short story is that i got to el bolson, argentina, with full intent of drawing caricatures at famous hippie market of el bolson. as it happaned, two hours after my arrival to town i realized that my credit card was no longer with me, and i had only 10 pesos in cash. fortunately it was in the middle of easter, and market was full of people for that entire week. i mannaged not only to survive, but i actually earned nice money the first two days, and that kept me there for a while...
el bolson itself has such a unique charm, i felt right at home there, and even if i woundnt have to wait for a new credit card for more than a week, i would still have stayed there for a serious time.

i just love working in different markets.

using acrylics and some finishing touches with colored pencil.
two sessons of work were needed to complete this piece. first session took about two hours, second session took about 6... I'm somewhat pleased wth the result. when started painting it i wasen't really sure if i'm going to paint a caricature or maybe take a more realistic approach...but my then my natural tendency to exaggerate and to not maintain correct body proportions took control of my work, and there you have it.

The triple holyday festival in Vadi NisNas

Another Year in Haifa's big three religions Festival at Vadi NisNas. As always, it was crowded, load, stressfull, and fun at most (i have to admit to that...). and there was great live music.
